Ilteks Tekstil started her active life in 1971 under the name Isik Jersey by Kohen family whose production was mainly for the needs of local market. They produced several types of circular and warp knit fabric for exclusive ladies labels, with a widely known reputation of innovation and quality.
The family members then decided to choose different directions and the textile tradition was taken over by Ilya Kohen, who is our founder and chairman as of today, named the former company as Ilteks Tekstil in 1978.
From that time until 1993 Ilteks's journey continued in several different fabric and yarn qualities, even acted as yarn dealer on certain occasions.
In 1993 the new generation of Kohen family showed up. The facts of the world pushed forced company for  high tech machinery investment and new qualities. The decision was made, production of mercerized fabric.
Members of the company not only invested finance but new menthality and educated personel, also stepped forward from local to international markets the company moved forward since then. Concepts and collections had been developed and distributed through out the world.
The new era brought fresh and update ideas, following the trends of the fashion world, who is live and moving.
Since than Ilteks's name have been equal to fashion, quality, service and continious development.
